Why us?

Burnett Ministries offer Biblical knowledge and understanding for the saints of God to be equipped through the Five-Fold Ministry (Elders- Ephesians 4:11-16) and learn their purpose, which is witnessing to the lost (Matthew 28:19-20) and ministering in their gifts to the body of Christ (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31); then the saints of God will fulfill their destiny.

Gifts that are functioning in this ministry:
Intercessory Prayer

We have Prayer Warriors who intercede on behalf of people, places and circumstances; fasting plays a major role in Intercession (Isaiah 58:6). This Gift falls under Helps in which other Gifts are included, such as Hospitality and etc. (1 Corinthians 12:28)

Teacher

- Exposition (explaining truths) and gets illuminations from the Word of God and the Holy Spirit which is the power of God.

Evangelist

- Carries the Gospel to the lost with signs and wonders following.

Prophetess

- Protects the body of Christ with warnings and correction through the Gift of Prophecy. This Gift edifies and will also bring conviction.

Discerning of spirits

- A supernatural revelation concerning the source or nature and activity of evil
(demonic) spirits.

Word of Knowledge

- A limited knowledge given by God (supernatural facts) pertaining to people, places and circumstances. This Gift can be revealed directly from the Holy Spirit, by dreams and etc.

Word of Wisdom

- Directions on when and how to proceed when it involves people, places and circumstances.

Prophecy

- Supernaturally inspired to foretell future events.

Gift of Exhortation

- Encourages and motivates. This supernatural Gift also encourages one to move in the right direction.

Gifts of Healing

- Supernatural healing of physical illnesses (diseases).

Gift of Helps

- The supernatural ability to assist in bringing about God's will. There are different aspects of this ministry (Intercessory Prayer falls under this set of Gifts).

Note: These are supernatural Gifts (abilities) which are always greater than natural abilities.
