He or She Who kneels Before God in Prayer, Can Stand Before Anyone 10-16-24
Kneeling, bowing, or laying prostrate before the Lord is awesome, but that can be done with a heart of humility also.
Daniel – When this image was sent to me, I was wondering how a message could be written, but after pondering it in my heart and asking the Holy Spirit to help me, this is what came to me. All the governors of the kingdom, the administrators and satraps, the counselors, and advisors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a firm decree, that whoever petitions any god or man for thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions.
Now, O king, establish the decree and sign the writing, so that it cannot be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.” Therefore, King Darius signed the written decree.
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. And they went before the king, and spoke concerning the king’s decree: “Have you not signed a decree that every man who petitions any god or man within thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?”
The king answered and said, “The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.” Didn’t the Lord deliver Daniel out of the lion’s den for being bold and not compromising?
Paul- His message to Agrippa was such a profound one, that he almost persuaded Agrippa to be a Christian. Paul just didn’t run off and spoke to Agrippa, without praying. I am sure he sought the Lord and He sanctioned it (Acts, chapter 26). Paul was a praying man, In fact, he wrote much about prayer.
Peter – And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31).
Jesus stood boldly and confident with woes (trouble) to the Scribes and Pharisees (Matthew, chapter 23). If Jesus had to pray and spend time with His Father (Mark 1:35), what about us?
Betty -Prior to saying anything to someone (give advice and so on), I go to the Lord in prayer, if I had to deliver a word, correction, warning, and so on, it took much prayer.
How powerful is your prayer? When you face giants in your life, how much prayer is offered to the Lord, and how much faith do you have to believe that no giant is too large that you will not be able to overcome through power of the Holy Spirit?
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him (Ephesians 3:12).
