I Voted! Thank the Lord for the Privilege! 11-5-24

I guess you are wondering why this is being posted after yesterday’s message encouraging everyone to vote. Well, it’s like this I mailed my ballot in October, but you didn’t know that. Just in case someone did not vote during this election, I urge you to vote in the future. Thanks to each of you who replied yesterday, saying: “I voted”

When I look back over the years that our forefathers struggled through blood, sweat and tears, I thank the Lord that their suffering was not in vain, and God gave them the grace to endure whatever their afflictions were (2 Corinthians 12:9). I thank the Lord for the privilege to vote! I also thank the Lord that my freedom to vote for whomever I please, and not someone trying to influence, persuade, or ask  me for whom I voted. That’s my business.

Actually, I saw my PCP on Friday, and she asked me for whom I voted. I did not tell her, but I did tell her that God was in control. I also said: “You are wearing a cross, and I am sure you are trusting Him.”

My dear friends, let’s remember this; The Sovereign God is in control; trust Him and He will see you through, and take care of you, regardless of who gets in office (Philippians 4:19). Caution: The Lord is not pleased when we don’t put our trust in Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Keep on Praying!
