Regardless of What Other People Do or Don’t Do- You do What is Right 1-3-2025

Updated: 2 days ago

I have read some  posts on Facebook about others needing to get it right about the way they mistreat people. I am in total agreement. Yet, in considering my own experiences of being hurt, talked against, criticized, and even belittled, in my spiritual growth, those things don’t affect me like they used to. However, I will never say I have completely matured in some areas of my walk with the Lord.

One thing we all should be reminded of is, some people will not change regardless of how much they are prayed for, or even if their faults are addressed, some are so full of pride that they are in denial of being wrong, because they don’t see themselves.

And since that is so, the best thing for us to do is to “Keep our eyes on Jesus” One reason is, focusing on someone else can cause us to lose sight of ourselves. For instance, the concentration can be on someone else when we should be focusing on our own walk; because all of us are imperfect beings. I am not saying it’s wrong to pray for or to address a situation, but the word of caution is to make sure we are focused on our own life and doing what we are called to do.

Losing focus on ourselves causes distractions and we forget that that are issues in our own lives that need to be dealt with.

Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).
