SALVATION is by GRACE Alone, Through FAITH Alone. In CHRIST Alone 11-14-24

Updated: 13 hours ago

Many people think because they work in different ministries that they are going to heaven. I am here to tell you it doesn’t work that way; some even think that the more they work in the church, the more pleasing they are to God; that is not true.

Works will not get anyone to heaven, but these scriptures reveal the way to heaven (eternal life). For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of works, lest anyone should boast.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:8-9). And the faith that we had to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, also was instilled in us by God.

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart, one believes in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10).

Notice that the scripture not only to confess with the mouth, because many people confess from their lips but their hearts have not been changed. Therefore, the Lord said: In as much as these people draw near with their mouths, and honor Me with their lips. But have removed their hearts far from Me (Isaiah 29:13, Matthew 15:8).

Salvation is through and by Jesus Christ - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).

In addition to the scriptures pertaining to salvation, God knew us (meaning He had a relationship with us): Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). The Lord also knew what our ministry was.

That’s the reason we should be seeking about our ministry, instead of picking and choosing what we want to do. God is the Omniscient (all-knowing One), therefore He has foreknowledge of everything. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:29-30).

Our salvation is complete in Christ who did the Finishing work That makes us complete in Him: and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.  In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,  buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.  Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

We did nothing to get saved, God took care of it all!
