The Word of God is the Real Truth 8-20-24
The only Source that will tell you the truth is the Word of God. Seeking anything other than the Word of God is a temporary fix; the Word of God lasts forever (Isaiah 40:8). Everything is tainted except the Word of God. Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him (Proverbs 30:5).
Examples of things that are not acceptable to God.
Finding out what is acceptable to the Lord (Ephesians 5:26). There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.
For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21).
If you are born-again and are still indulging in these evil practices, please stop, and ask the Lord to forgive you.
Evil practice meaning- from the Internet: become involved in (an activity, typically one that is undesirable or disapproved of).
If any child of God desires the truth, this is the way to get it. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7). Call Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3).
