The Faithful will be Greatly Rewarded!

God Rewards the Faithful 9-12-24

Everybody receives blessings from the Lord because He sends His rain and sun on the good and the evil. You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,  that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

However, to those who are faithful and walk in obedience will be greatly rewarded.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you (Matthew 5:11-12). Those who are persecuted for their righteous (uncompromising) walk will be rewarded.

But the greatest rewards will be when we stand before Christ. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord (Matthew 25:21-23).

We are rewarded while on earth: For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister (Hebrews 6:10).

If you are not faithful, it isn't too late! I encourage you to start moving forward with what God’s purpose is for your life.
