There is no one on earth the same as you!

You are Unique 10-28-24

So many of us have thought little of ourselves, and it has hindered how the Lord wants us to fulfill His purpose for us. The way I felt about myself was not good; much of it had to do with being poor. I chased the wind by trying to find myself, and even after being born again for years I still felt inferior to others, even in ministry.

To be honest, sometimes when I am in the company of certain people, I still feel inferior, but by the grace of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit, I move forward in Jesus name.

I want to encourage those who don’t know or understand how important you are to God: For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well (Psalm 139:13-14).

For we are His workmanship [masterpiece], created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).

It is amazing what God thinks of us. But the devil does not want us to think that God loves us; he wants us to think that God is angry or upset with us when we go astray. We could never do anything to change the way God feels about us.

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thoughts afar off [before I think them].You ]comprehend my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether (Psalm 139:1-4).

He knew what we were going to do before He made us, so what makes anyone think that we can disappoint God? I may be disappointed by someone who fails to fulfill my hopes or expectations. Yet, we are not to think too highly of ourselves. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith (Romans 12:3).

What if someone is more attractive or is academically smarter? God did not cause that to happen; Adam’s disobedience (sin) caused each of us to have something wrong with us; everybody has some kind of flaw. Think of yourself the way God wants you to think with humbleness of heart. You are uniquely made by God, you are His handy work, whom He meticulously shaped and molded into something beautiful; you are God’s masterpiece. Now, go forth and fulfill His purpose for your life.
